We're looking for a Business Analyst with strong business analytical and technical expertise, who will help us to create a next-generation eCommerce platform for large US retailers and engage new clients. This is a unique opportunity to innovate creating a vision of a brand new solution, supervise its implementation and bring it to the market. You'll be a part of a bright engineering team that has an open communication, empowerment, innovation, teamwork, and customer-centric culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business requirements for a new solution by studying market and existing projects
  • Translate business requirements into business acceptance criteria and workflow documentation
  • Collaboration with distributed team of developers, testers, analysts.
  • Work in team using agile methodology of software development (Scrum, continuous integration, planning games, daily stand up, etc).
  • Develop and manage project documentation  
  • Communicate with customers, collect and refine business requirements 

 

Required Skills:

  • Good understanding of eCommerce and eRetail business domains
  • Excellent technical writing skills and ability to document software requirements and architectures in a crisp way. Ability to present and explain software requirements to different groups of users including engineering teams and business stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of how business requirements are gathered, analyzed, and documented
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to negotiate business/technical requirements and project schedule with the customer and external vendors.
  • Excellent analytical skills. Ability to learn from customers, analyze past projects and advise top management on how the sales strategy can be improved and how reusable technical solutions can be developed
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases and good command of SQL
  • Deep understanding of software development process 
  • At least basic understanding of Java technology stack and software architecture
  • Ability to travel abroad for up to 2 months
  • Willingness to relocate to the US is a plus
