Senior QA Engineer

Essential functions

·      Perform testing and validation of Big Data ETL pipelines and machine learning model outputs, including conducting analysis of engineering and design documentation to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases designed specifically for the challenges of large-scale data flows and ML-generated outputs.

·      Perform code reviews and report test outcomes.

·      Produce detailed defect reports and test result analyses, highlighting issues related to data quality and model accuracy.

·      Develop test plans and automate test cases using in-house tools, alongside Big Data technologies Apache Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Java, SQL, TestNG, Gradle, and Kubernetes.

·      Various worksites—job may allow for remote work, job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.              Analyzing documentation for test planning and designing test cases

2.              Developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks

3.              Executing test cases manually.

4.              Creating defect reports and analyzing test results and metrics

5.              Test case automation

6.              Java

7.              SQL

8.              TestNG

9.              Gradle
