The Grid Dynamics executive team brings together the company’s original team (which has been successfully building Grid Dynamics from the start) and industry veterans who have joined the company in recent years to help take Grid Dynamics to the next level.

Leonard Livschitz

Chief Executive Officer

Leonard Livschitz is Grid Dynamics’ CEO and a member of the company’s Board of Directors.  He is a seasoned high-tech executive and serial entrepreneur, and a pioneer of LEDs for automotive and general lighting applications.
Leonard has over 18 years of experience in the high tech industry. He has held  executive and management roles in sales, marketing, business development, and R&D with Philips Lumileds Lighting, LED Engin, Visteon Lighting, and Ford Motor Company. Prior to joining Grid Dynamics as CEO, Leonard founded the LED solutions company Luxera, and prior to that served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for LED Engine. Leonard holds a Masters of Science degree in Systems and Control Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kharkov State Polytechnic University, Ukraine.

Victoria Livschitz

Founder, CTO and Chairman of the Board of Directors

Victoria Livschitz founded Grid Dynamics in 2006 in order to bring big, new ideas -- open source, clouds, and big data -- to large enterprises. Under her leadership, Grid Dynamics became a successful, fast growing technology provider of innovative engineering solutions to Fortune 500 companies. In 2013 Victoria left the CEO post at Grid Dynamics to start her next company, Qubell, which was acquired by Grid Dynamics in 2015 and renamed Tonomi. Victoria is currently Grid Dynamics’s CTO and Chairman of the Board.

Prior to founding Grid Dynamics, Victoria spent 10 years at Sun Microsystems in a variety of technical leadership positions including Principal Architect of SunGrid, the world's first public cloud; Senior Scientist at Sun Labs; and Chief Architect of Financial and Automotive Services; and Chief Architect of General Motors. Victoria started her career as HPC engineer for Ford Motor Company. Victoria received numerous awards for engineering excellence, including Sun Systems Engineer of the Year and the Ford Chairman’s Award. Victoria graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University and attended graduate programs at Purdue University and Stanford University.

Tim Noel

Vice President, Finance

Tim joined Grid Dynamics in October, 2015 and brings over 20 years experience as a financial executive in software, Internet, and manufacturing companies. He has provided the direction and leadership needed to build and lead strong finance and accounting organizations.  
Before coming to Grid Dynamics, Tim was the Vice President of Finance and Administration at iSystems LLC, a leading developer of payroll, tax, and human capital management software. Prior to his time at iSystems, he was CFO of Critical Path, Inc., a provider of messaging software solutions to telecommunication companies across the globe.
Tim joined Critical Path in 2004 as Vice President/Corporate Controller, and was promoted to CFO in 2008. Before Critical Path, he was the Corporate Controller of Netopia, Inc., which developed and manufactured broadband modems, routers, and gateways. Tim also served in various other financial roles at Netopia between 1995 and 2004. Prior to Netopia, he held financial positions at Veriflo Corporation and Farallon Communications, Inc. He graduated from St. Michael’s College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

Rahul Bindlish

VP of Sales

A highly accomplished professional with more than 20 years of experience, Rahul Bindlish has led several sales and consulting teams. He is an innovative leader who has delivered significant value in merchandising, supply chain management, omnichannel commerce, mobility, and analytics for Fortune 500 retailers in the US. He excels in building high-performing teams, developing deep customer relationships, and driving cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges.

Vadim Kozyrkov

Vice President, Service Delivery

Vadim joined Grid Dynamics in February, 2014. He has over 20 years of technology and program management expertise. His experience spans a broad range of projects; from custom-built applications to large ERP implementations for automotive and aerospace customers in the USA and South Africa. Immediately prior to joining Grid Dynamics, Vadim was President of Aculocity LLC, which he grew tenfold over seven years in both headcount and revenue while maintaining consistent profitability. Before Aculocity, he worked for GMSA, based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and the GVW Group based in Chicago. Vadim graduated from Moscow State University in 1987 with a Masters of Science in Physics. In 1994 he earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and In 2000 he received an MBA from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

Stan Klimoff

Technical Fellow and Vice President of Cloud Services

Stan is responsible for the vision and technology behind Grid Dynamics' cloud service offerings. He brings over a decade of experience in programming languages, distributed computing, networking, and technology management. Stan was one of the first Grid Dynamics employees. Prior to his current role, Stan ran the Grid Dynamics research and development activities, and helped design cloud offerings for technology leaders such as Cisco, eBay, and Seagate. He also led the creation of next-generation cloud products for technology companies across a wide range of industries, including security and compliance, enterprise storage, and high-performance computing. Stan holds a master's degree in computer engineering from the Saratov State University in Russia.

Yury Gryzlov

VP of Global Operations

Yury Gryzlov joined Grid Dynamics in 2007 as the company’s first QA Manager, and quickly established himself as a talented and versatile operations manager. As the company grew, Yury took on ever-increasing responsibilities, leading to his current role as Senior Director of Global Operations, where he is in charge  of all facets of the company's overseas operations, including finance, legal, HR, IT, office management, purchasing, and recruiting. Previously, Yury served as VP of Operations in Russia and was responsible for all aspects of our people strategy including hiring, developing, and retaining Grid Dynamics personnel in Russia. Prior to that, Yury was Deputy Director of the Saratov Engineering center, where he managed all daily operations. He  holds a Masters of Science degree in Biophysics with honors from Saratov State University, Russia.

Eric Benhamou

Board Member

Eric Benhamou has over 38 years of experience in the IT industry, including 12 years as an  active venture capitalist. He founded Benhamou Global Ventures (BGV) in 2003, where he served as Managing Director and made active investments in early-stage Silicon Valley IT firms focused on the global enterprise and telecommunications markets. BGV has invested in Swan Labs (F5), Dasient (TWTR), Voltaire (MLNX), and Finjan (FNJN). Eric has an MS from Stanford University’s School of Engineering, a Diplôme d’Ingénieur and a Doctorate from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers, Paris. He also holds several honorary doctorates and international awards.

Alexandra “Sasha” Johnson

Board Member

Alexandra is Founder and Managing Director of Global Technology Capital and President of the Global Technology Symposium, a premier investors conference on global emerging markets held annually in Silicon Valley since 2003. She is a board member of several tech companies, including Grid Dynamics, VisionLabs, and Rolith. Prior to that, Alexandra was Managing Director of DFJ VTB Capital Aurora, a venture group specializing in investments in the developing world. Alexandra invests in a broad range of companies targeting enterprise, material science, alternative energy, and industry innovation, and has grown a variety of product and services start-ups and emerging technology companies in the U.S, Russia, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). She was a private sector Co-Chair of the U.S. – Russia Innovation Working Group, and has spent her career connecting Bay Area investors with companies in emerging markets.Alexandra was a founder and Managing Director of Landbridge Capital LLC, an investment firm targeting U.S.-based companies commercializing Russian technology. Prior to forming Landbridge Capital, Ms. Johnson was CEO of Libritas, Inc., a venture-backed provider of Information Technology (IT) products and managed telecom services for small, medium and Fortune 500 Corporations. Libritas was acquired in 2001.
Alexandra was named among Top 20 most influential men and women in Bay Area finance in 2015 (Worth). She received an MA with honors from Far Eastern State University, Vladivostok, and a Ph.D. from the University of St. Petersburg. She also has an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Paul Swigart

Board Member

Paul Swigart is a member of the Board of Directors of Grid Dynamics representing VTB Capital. Since 2010, Paul has served as the CEO of VTB Capital’s US operations, overseeing the bank’s expansion in the Americas. Previously, Paul was a partner and the CEO of the UK operations for United Financial Group, one of Russia’s leading independent investment banks. Paul also spent several years working as a portfolio manager and analyst covering emerging European and Latin American markets for Omega Advisors and Scudder Kemper. In addition, Paul is the Founder and Managing Partner of Steep Rock Capital. He graduated with honors from Princeton University with a degree in History, and dual concentrations in Russian Studies and Latin American Studies.

Magomed Askhabov

Board Member

Magomed Askhabov is the Global Head of VTB Venture Capital, which has seven funds and 35 companies under management. Prior to that he was Head of the Department of Development for VTB group Financial Subsidiaries, supervising VTB Insurance, VTB leasing, VTB Factoring, and the VTB Pension Fund, all Russian market leaders in their industries.
Before joining VTB group, from 2008 to 2011, Magomed worked as CEO of Regional Alliance Insurance group, a turnaround project that successfully consolidated a number of regional insurance companies. Prior to Regional Alliance, he was an investment director at Troika Capital Partners, the private equity arm of a leading investment house in Russia in the  2000s. He also has several years of management consulting experience with KPMG.
Magomed got his MBA degree -- with extra degrees in Computer Science and Economics -- from the University of Wyoming after having won an all-Russia competition for the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship. He completed postgraduate studies at the Institute of Economics, Russian Academy of Sciences, and received a CFA degree in 2007.
