Regular QA Automation Engineer (Java)
We are looking for a Mid QA Automation Engineer with strong Java skills to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining advanced automated testing frameworks, implementing end-to-end, API, and UI test automation, and shaping the overall testing strategy across the application.
Essential functions
Execute test cases for assigned features or modules, report defects, and collaborate with other engineers to ensure the thorough testing of software applications.
Contribute to test planning activities, assisting in estimating effort, defining testing milestones, and actively participating in test strategy discussions.
Create and maintain product documentation and guides.
Support test automation efforts, executing automated test scripts and collaborating with the team to improve the efficiency and coverage of automated testing.
Execute test cases for assigned features or modules, report defects, and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure the thorough testing of software applications.
Contribute to the test automation strategy, identifying opportunities for automation, developing automated test scripts, and collaborating with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
Qualifications
3+ years of commercial experience with UI, API testing
Proven experience in test automation using Java, JUnit/TestNG, REST-assured
Hands-on skills with Selenium/Selenide, Playwright, and UI test automation
Solid understanding of BDD tools like Cucumber or JBehave
Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI)
Experience testing in microservices architecture
Working knowledge of Docker and container-based environments
Fluent English and strong communication skills
Strong QA mindset with the ability to collaborate closely with developers and analysts
Availability to work on a full-time employment contract (Umowa o pracę)
