Senior Python Developer (TensorFlow Development)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Software Engineer to join our team working on the development and maintenance of TensorFlow, one of the world’s most widely used open-source machine learning frameworks. The role involves building new features, fixing bugs, performing migrations, working on infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and packaging, all in collaboration with a world-class engineering team.
Essential functions
Design, develop, and enhance new features for TensorFlow.
Debug and resolve software defects across multiple platforms.
Perform code migrations and manage packaging processes.
Work with infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and build systems.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
Work independently while aligning with the team on deliverables and timelines.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience with Python.
2+ years of experience with C++, including reading and understanding how it integrates with Python.
Solid knowledge and/or hands-on experience in Machine Learning.
Experience with cross-platform development (Mac, Windows, Linux).
Familiarity with build tools such as Bazel or Blaze.
Good understanding of GCP.
Proficiency with Bash scripting.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and within PST/PDT time zones.
