Data & AI Digital Transformation Account Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Data & AI Digital Transformation Account Manager to spearhead our sales efforts in Spain. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in software services and your understanding of the data, AI, and cloud industry to help clients modernise their data management and AI capabilities. Your focus will be on developing strategic client relationships, crafting compelling proposals, and expanding our regional presence through partnerships with hyperscalers and leading technology providers.
Essential functions
Account Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive sales plans targeting clients interested in data, AI, and cloud solutions. Identify and qualify leads, understand customer needs, and position Grid Dynamics’ services and solutions effectively.
Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers. Deliver demos, presentations, and workshops to showcase the value of our offerings. Collaborate with clients to assess their data and AI capabilities and develop tailored modernisation and product development solutions.
Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals highlighting benefits and ROI. Work with internal teams to craft customised solutions and pricing models.
Sales Pipeline Management: Track sales activities and opportunities using CRM tools. Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Regional Presence & Industry Networking: Establish and grow our presence in the region by engaging with existing clients and creating new opportunities—attending industry events, conferences, and networking activities. Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and AI.
Partnership Nurturing: Drive sales through strategic partnerships with hyperscalers like Microsoft Azure, data product providers such as Snowflake, Databricks, Confluent, Dataiku, and LLM solution providers. Expand partner collaborations to open new avenues for growth.
Qualifications
Proven experience in software sales, especially in data, AI, and cloud solutions
Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and AI technologies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build lasting relationships
Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
Willingness to frequent nationwide travel to visit clients on-site
Would be a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
