Senior Full-Stack Developer with PHP experience
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus and solid PHP knowledge to join our team. You will work closely with the client’s engineering team on replatforming their current CMS solution, ensuring best practices are applied, and contributing to both the frontend and backend parts of the system. This role offers the opportunity to work on a modern tech stack, integrate a new CMS, and be part of a collaborative and skilled delivery team.
Essential functions
Collaborate with the client team to replatform the current CMS solution from Contentful to Storyblok
Implement responsive and user-friendly UI using modern JavaScript, CSS, and templating techniques
Contribute to backend functionality in PHP
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
Participate in code reviews, identify improvements, and ensure coding standards are followed
Collaborate with QA, design, and other developers to deliver high-quality releases
Qualifications
Strong experience with JavaScript, Webpack, and CSS3
Good knowledge of PHP (preferably PHP 8+)
Experience with CMS platforms (preferably headless CMS)
Familiarity with AWS services and Git-based workflows (Bitbucket or similar)
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a distributed team
Would be a plus
Experience with Storyblok or similar headless CMS (e.g., Contentful, Strapi, Sanity)
Knowledge of Twig templates
Experience with jQuery
Familiarity with AWS Aurora RDS and MySQL
Understanding of best practices for legacy system documentation and migration
