Senior UX/UI Designer
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the redesign of a client-facing internal web application used in a manufacturing environment. The role will involve close collaboration with a well-established in-house design team, focusing on improving user experience and functionality for complex data-heavy workflows.
Essential functions
Redesign and enhance the internal manufacturing web app, improving usability, visual design, and performance.
Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes that meet user and business requirements.
Apply strong UX/UI principles, especially when working with large tables, filters, and query-driven data.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and internal stakeholders to deliver design solutions.
Use tools such as Sketch and internal design systems to align with existing frameworks and guidelines.
Iterate on feedback quickly and effectively while maintaining high design standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role.
Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric design work.
Solid understanding of UX/UI best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
Experience designing interfaces involving complex data sets, filters, and queries.
Proficiency in Sketch and familiarity with internal prototyping or component libraries (e.g., Tidbits or similar).
Comfortable using design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to work and attend meetings until 12 PM PST (21h CET).
Would be a plus
Prior experience working within large, structured design teams in a corporate or enterprise environment.
Familiarity with a design culture that prioritizes minimalism, clarity, and precision.
Understanding of or previous adherence to strict design guidelines and review processes.
Experience using wireframing tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, or similar.
