Software Engineer (.Net Core)
As a Software Engineer specializing in .NET Core, you'll be a key contributor to our backend engineering team, responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable services that power our client´s platform. You'll work closely with product managers and other engineers to build robust backend solutions that ensure our products operate efficiently and reliably.
Essential functions
- Design and implement new backend services and features using .NET Core
- Write clean, effective, and testable code with comprehensive unit testing coverage
- Own the end-to-end development lifecycle from code writing to deployment and monitoring
- Design solutions to complex problems with support from the peers
- Participate in code reviews, providing actionable feedback to peers
- Contribute to system-level design discussions and API architecture decisions
- Monitor and maintain AWS services independently for the AutoSync platform
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliability of our backend services
- Integrate security best practices into feature planning and implementation
- Share knowledge through pair programming, internal talks, and documentation
- Apply AI tools for code optimization, debugging, and performance monitoring
- Evaluate AI-generated solutions and refine them to meet our specific needs
Qualifications
- Strong experience with .NET Core and its ecosystem
- Good understanding of backend architecture and API design principles
- Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Understanding of database design and data modeling
- Experience building and maintaining scalable backend services
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Experience using AI-powered development tools in coding workflows
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills to effectively document and explain technical decisions
- Ability to manage expectations and communicate challenges proactively
Would be a plus
- Experience with Vue.js and TypeScript (for occasional frontend work)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques for backend services
- Previous experience working with distributed systems
