IT Support Engineer
We are looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills and a solid background in supporting both hardware and software systems who can provide technical user support and assist with system and software configuration.
Essential functions
Provide technical user support, assisting users with system and software configuration
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot laptops with MacOS (13.x, 14.x, 15.x) and Windows 10/11 operating systems
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, Slack, and other authorized desktop applications
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot AV conference equipment (projectors, AppleTV, cameras)
Perform general preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, printers, and AV equipment
Maintain asset inventory and manage equipment procurement
Manage user access and provide timely communication regarding issue status and resolution
Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents
Qualifications
Strong customer support skills
Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and in a timely manner
Strong troubleshooting skills
Understanding of basic network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VoIP) and experience troubleshooting network issues
Hands-on experience working with MacOS including installation, configuration and troubleshooting
Practical experience with Windows AD and LDAP
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix system concepts, including basic command-line operations, system navigation, and troubleshooting
Would be a plus
Experience with Google Workspace (G Suite)
AWS/GCP/Azure experience
