Senior Big Data Engineer
Join a dynamic team focused on developing tools and analytics to monitor and improve video streaming quality for a leading media product. The role involves implementing anomaly detection algorithms and working with cutting-edge distributed computing technologies.
Note: The position requires overlap with US PST time zone (9 AM–12 PM PST).
Essential functions
Implement anomaly detection solutions using existing libraries
Generate synthetic data to test models
Validate accuracy and robustness of anomaly detection algorithms
Collaborate with team members on improving streaming data processing
Qualifications
Proficiency in Python
Experience with stream processing frameworks, ideally PyFlink
Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks such as Ray
Ability to work during overlapping hours with US PST teams (9 AM–12 PM PST)
Would be a plus
Prior experience in video streaming quality or analytics
Knowledge of anomaly detection methodologies
Experience working on projects with minimal legacy code and a focus on innovation
