Senior .NET Engineer
Grid Dynamics is looking for a Senior .NET developer, to join our team in Belgrade or Novi Sad. This is a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale digital transformation, solve complex performance challenges, and directly influence the success of a major product launch.
Essential functions
Profile and optimize .NET applications to ensure high performance and stability.
Diagnose and resolve complex production issues with direct business impact.
Lead the migration of legacy Visual Basic applications to .NET Core.
Work with Windows Forms applications and modernize them where applicable.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth production release.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.
Qualifications
Strong experience with Windows Forms.
Proven expertise in .NET Core development.
Hands-on experience with Visual Basic .NET and migration to .NET Core.
Proficiency in profiling and debugging .NET applications.
Demonstrated ability to optimize .NET applications in production environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex performance issues.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Experience leading teams or acting as a technical lead in modernization projects.
Would be a plus
Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
