Senior SDET
We are looking for a Senior SDET to design and develop automated tests for B2B SaaS applications across UI, REST APIs, microservices, databases, and batch jobs. You will work with JavaScript and Java automation frameworks, create detailed test plans, and ensure scalable, reliable solutions. This role offers the chance to take ownership of complex testing initiatives and help deliver robust enterprise-grade products.
Essential functions
Developing tests for UI and REST API based components testing, backend microservices, databases and microservices testing.
Developing functional, regression, performance and E2E tests for REST based APIs, UI, batch jobs and databases
Developing automated test code on JavaScript and Java based automation frameworks - Playwright for UI and API, JS Jasmine and Java Unit tests for backend services
Writing and executing detailed test plans, test design & test cases covering feature, integration, regression, certification, system-level testing.
Performing debugging and troubleshooting in Linux containers running on Kubernetes
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in automation
Experience working with NodeJS, Express JS and UI/UX automation with Playwright or Cypress, multi-browser testing
Experience working with API automation with Java and JavaScript based frameworks -JS Jasmine, TestNg or JUnit.
Hands-on experience in test planning, test scenarios creation, test data creation and executing test cases based on the business scenarios
Ability to understand complex enterprise-level systems, various integration points, decent understanding of all networking layers, good understanding of software development lifecycle and processes
Working experience testing web applications, Rest APIs, Java, JavaScript, shell scripting and RDBMS
Strong communication
Would be a plus
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Working experience in debugging and troubleshooting containerized microservices
Experience with Gatling or JMeter
Experience with Kafka and Hazelcast
Working experience in testing ETL, batch processes using Clover.
Experience working with VSCode Cline AI Assistant, Claude Code, AI/ML
