Principal AI Engineer (Physical AI)
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Principal AI Engineer with expertise in multimodal generative models to join our team. As a Principal AI Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and advancing cutting-edge solutions in the field of robotics and physical AI. Essential functions
You will be a part of the RnD team, designing and developing foundation models in the field of robotics and dexterous manipulation
Lead and contribute to cutting-edge research in robotic perception, motion generation, and physical AI
Design, develop, and experiment with novel algorithms, architectures, and techniques that enhance the performance, efficiency, and scalability of our AI models
Design and implement robotic applications combining conventional computer vision, motion planning, and generative models
Define data generation, collection, and curation strategies; supervise data collection to scale up our datasets and model capabilities
Qualifications
Excellent fundamentals and excellent implementation skills in deep learning, vision models, or multimodal models
Strong engineering ability with Python and PyTorch, experience building ML models from scratch in PyTorch
Experience with physical AI projects (robotics, autonomous driving, etc.) is a big plus
Experience working with large scale AI training (GPU clusters)
Strong publication record in deep learning, generative model, multimodal models, computer vision, or RL
Excellent system design skills, ability to implement research ideas in a clean way and productize AI pipelines
MS or PhD degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
