Senior Python Developer
Grid Dynamics is looking for a Senior Python developer, to join our team in Belgrade or Novi Sad. This is a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale digital transformation, solve complex performance challenges, and directly influence the success of a major product launch.
Essential functions
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team, including conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of excellence in software development practices
Write high-quality, maintainable code for critical components, features, or modules of the software application
Analyze and solve complex technical problems, including performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges and system failuresRefactoring and improving existing codebase to enhance maintainability, extensibility and readability
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and best practices guides
Ensure the overall quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing practices, including unit tests, integration tests and end-to-end tests, as well as promoting a culture of testing and quality assurance within the team
Qualifications
Solid understanding of microservices architecture
Strong experience with Python ecosystem (FastAPI, pytest, asyncio)
Experience with cloud and containerization technologies (AWS services, Kubernetes orchestration, Docker)
Proficiency with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy)
Experience with frontend development using React
Would be a plus
Prior work on scalable consumer-facing applications with large user bases
