Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python)
We're looking for a motivated and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a project with a high-profile Machine Learning focused client team. This role is a prime opportunity to drive the next generation of application development, focusing on robust backend architecture, modern frontend experience, and sophisticated ML integration.
Essential functions
Platform Refactoring: Lead the complete backend architectural refactoring to ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
ML Feature Development: Design, build, and deploy new features, specifically focusing on the integration of ML models and LLM services into the main application workflow.
Full Stack Delivery: Develop and optimize both frontend components and backend APIs using modern, scalable frameworks and libraries.
System Stability & Reliability: Implement continuous monitoring, maintain system stability, and provide high-priority, rapid-response support for urgent user data issues and application downtime.
Infrastructure Management: Contribute to the design and maintenance of scalable infrastructure, focusing on autoscaling, containerization, and CI/CD best practices.
Code Quality: Champion code quality across the team by implementing and enforcing rigorous unit testing and integration testing protocols.
Qualifications
Backend Proficiency: Strong experience with Python (required) and building performant APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or similar.
Frontend Expertise: Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript development, including React/Node.js and TypeScript.
Database Management: Demonstrated experience with MongoDB, including data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization for large datasets.
Infrastructure: Practical working knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes, along with managing CI/CD pipelines.
ML/AI Integration: Proven experience integrating Machine Learning models, services, or APIs (including LLMs) into production web applications.
Modern UI Components: Experience working with modern React component libraries (e.g., TanStack Table, Shadcn UI, or similar systems).
Would be a plus
Experience with advanced data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Visx).
Expertise in LLM application development, specifically with pipelines for data science or analytics (e.g., topic modeling, sentiment analysis workflows).
Deep familiarity with the modern React ecosystem, including state management and utility libraries like Tailwind CSS.
