Senior Backend Developer (Python)
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join a team focused on building a next-generation internal data service for a major global technology company. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining the core backend infrastructure that extracts and propagates critical data across various internal platforms.

Essential functions
Develop, test, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python and Java.
Focus on backend development to ensure high performance and reliability of the data service.
Contribute to the evolution of next-generation services and work on large-scale systems.
Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders in a highly technical and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Primary Languages: Expertise in Python (a must-have) and professional experience with Java for backend development.
Core Concepts: Strong understanding of Data Structures, Distributed Systems, and proven ability in System Design.
API & Frameworks: Experience developing RESTful services using frameworks like Spring Boot, with familiarity in Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) a plus.
Database: Proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or Cassandra.
Architecture: Proven experience with Microservices Architecture.
Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Cloud & Tools: Experience with AWS, Git for version control, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Would be a plus
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
