Senior Software Engineer

Essential functions

·      Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React with a focus on state management utilizing the Effector library.

·      Build reusable, high-performance UI components and integrate them with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

·      Optimize application performance through efficient coding practices and modern frontend tools.

·      Develop and maintain test automation using Jest and React Testing Library.

·      Configure CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment in cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.

·      Implement quality gate checks using SonarQube to ensure code quality and maintainability.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and maintainable frontend architecture.

·      Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, implementing solutions to enhance stability and user experience.

·      Various worksites—job may allow for remote work, job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in any Engineering field, Computer Science, or closely related.

·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     Developing web applications using React, JavaScript and TypeScript

2.     Building reusable and high-performance UI components and integrating them with RESTful APIs

3.     Writing unit testing using Jest and React Testing Library.

 Two years of experience must include at least ONE (1) year of experience in the following:

4.     Configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment in AWS cloud environments.

5.     Implementing state management solutions with Redux Toolkit, Effector, and Zustand

6.     Performing application performance optimization using Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools.

7.     Ensuring code quality and maintainability through SonarQube quality gate checks.
