Staff DevOps Engineer
Various worksites—job may allow for remote work; job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Essential functions
· Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub Actions.
· Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Pulumi.
· Ensure reliability of ETL and data streaming pipelines.
· Develop internal automation tools in Python to improve efficiency.
· Manage and monitor Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance.
· Implement and improve observability solutions using Prometheus and other monitoring tools.
· Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to optimize deployment processes.
· Conduct technical interviews, assessments, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
· Direct supervision of approximately five DevOps Engineers.

Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. · At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:
1. Developing and optimizing automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring ETL reliability, provisioning cloud resources, conducting end-to-end infrastructure testing, enhancing observability and monitoring, designing informational systems, and optimizing costs.

7. Infrastructure as a code: Puppet & Pulumi
8. Kubernetes, Kustomize
