Technical Architect

Essential functions

·      Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance web applications, including eCommerce platforms and customer service portals.

·      Collaborate with senior architects and development teams to define and implement technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals.

·      Perform functional, integration, and system testing across various applications and services to ensure robustness and reliability.

·      Design and maintain custom automation frameworks using Java, Angular, and Services to streamline testing and deployment processes.

·      Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment tasks in cloud environments.

·      Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.

·      Lead development efforts for critical application components, including user profiles, checkout flows, and reporting modules.

·      Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test strategies, and test reports.

·      Conduct code reviews.

·      Provide accurate estimations for development and testing activities, maintaining an updated test automation roadmap.

·      Analyze production issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve application quality.

·      Various worksites—job may allow for remote work, job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Master of Science degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. 

·      At least ONE (1) year of experience in the job offered or at least ONE (1) year of experience in the following:

1.           Leading the architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance web applications, including eCommerce platforms and customer service portals.

2.           Designing and maintaining custom automation frameworks using Java and Angular

3.           TypeScript & JavaScript

4.           HTML, CSS & Bootstrap

5.           C#

6.           SQL & MongoDB

7.           Azure Cloud Platform

8.           Microservices Architecture
