Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Essential functions

·      Execute comprehensive validation of customer finance ETL processes, including in-depth code reviews and white box testing of payment jobs.

·      Design and implement robust, scalable test automation frameworks and custom testing tools using Java.

·      Configure and maintain dynamic test environments, facilitating on-demand and automated deployment of software builds to support continuous integration and delivery.

·      Perform in-depth quality analysis and implement improvements for test tools using JaCoCo, SonarQube, and OWASP scans to enhance application security and performance.

·      Conduct defect root cause analysis, including detailed developer code examination, to identify and resolve critical issues.

·      Design and implement advanced data validation strategies using Oracle SQL queries and stored procedures.

·      Develop and orchestrate multi-stage CI/CD pipelines, incorporating pipeline chaining and seamless integration with third-party testing and analysis tools.

·      Develop and utilize scripting languages to automate manual testing tasks.

·      Various worksites—job may allow for remote work, job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field. 

·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     Design and develop enterprise-grade test automation frameworks for UI and native mobile applications, utilizing Java, Appium and Selenium

2.     Development and management of Jenkins-based CI pipelines for test automation

3.     Creation of utilities for test execution, reporting and analysis

Two years of experience must include at least ONE (1) year of experience in the following:

4.     Validation of Finance-related ETL processes, including payment jobs code review and white box testing

5.     Metrics-driven test automation using JaCoCo, SonarCube & OWASP Scans

6.     Automation of backend API tests with RestAssured, Awaitility, and AssertJ
