Technical Architect

Essential functions

·      Design and develop Complex Realtime E-Commerce Application system and Content Management Service to serve the content and images required for eCommerce application for various countries and languages.

·      Define and implement the overall architecture and technology roadmap in alignment with business objectives.

·      Design technical solutions by translating business requirements into detailed specifications, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment, and bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams.

·      Establish standards and ensure compliance with best practices and security standards.

·      Optimize system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

·      Conduct code and design reviews to ensure technical quality and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the development lifecycle.

·      Work with the QA team to make sure that Test Cases are in line with Business Requirements.

·      Provide demo on any new implementations to all stakeholders, including customers, managers, and project managers, ensuring alignment and showcasing system capabilities.

·      Direct supervision of two Software Engineers.

·      Various worksites—job may allow for remote work, job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

  ·      Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.

·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     Design and development of Complex Realtime E-Commerce Application system and Content Management Service

2.     Java

3.     SpringBoot Micro Services

4.     Angular 13

5.     MySQL, Amazon RedShift, SQL Server

6.     SSIS Package

7.     HTML5, Bootstrap 4

8.     Kafka
