Lead AI Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead AI Engineer with expertise in physical AI to join our team. As a Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and advancing cutting-edge solutions in the field of robotic manipulation. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in computer science, mathematics, and machine learning, as well as leadership skills to drive innovation.
Essential functions
You will lead the RnD team, designing and developing solutions for dexterous robotic manipulation in Manufacturing and Logistics applications
Lead and contribute to cutting-edge research in robotic perception, motion generation, and physical AI
Design, develop, and experiment with novel algorithms, architectures, and techniques that enhance the performance, efficiency, and scalability of our AI models
Design and implement robotic applications combining conventional computer vision, motion planning, and VLA/RL models
Define data generation, collection, and curation strategies; supervise data collection to scale up our datasets and model capabilities
Qualifications
Excellent fundamentals and excellent implementation skills in deep learning, vision models, or multimodal models
Strong engineering ability with Python and PyTorch, experience building ML models from scratch in PyTorch and/or JAX/Flax
Excellent system design skills and experience with complex collaborative AI projects
Experience with robotic manipulation (manufacturing or logistics applications) or other physical AI projects (ADAS, autonomous driving, etc.) is a big plus
Experience working with large scale AI training (GPU clusters, Ray)
Experience leading a team of AI/ML engineers
Would be a plus
Strong publication record in deep learning, generative models, computer vision, or physical AI (RL, VLA)
MS or PhD degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
