Manual QA Engineer
We’re looking for a strong Manual QA Engineer to support our e-commerce client operating in 14 countries, working on the integration of their Order Management System with Fluent Commerce, as well as the rollout of their platform across those 14 markets.
Essential functions
Execute manual test cases for assigned features or modules of our e-commerce platform.
Identify, report, and track defects; collaborate with development engineers to resolve issues.
Contribute to test planning: help estimate effort, define testing milestones, and shape the overall test strategy.
Participate in test strategy discussions and support continuous improvement of QA processes.
Create and maintain product documentation, testing guides, and user-facing quality materials.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, development, and operations teams to guarantee quality across releases.
Competent in software development methodologies and client-server architecture.
API testing experience and familiarity with test management tools.
Knowledge of proxies for testing (e.g., intercepting API traffic).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on experience with manual testing.
Familiarity with API testing and test-management tools.
Basic knowledge of client-server architecture.
Ability to write and execute test cases, report defects, and collaborate with development teams.
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and clear communication skills.
Would be a plus
