Senior Data Engineer

Essential functions
Design large-scale, complex data pipelines for both batch and real-time data processing
Ensure scalability, efficiency, and reliability of data systems
Lead the integration of complex data sources and advanced data transformations
Create database design and optimization strategies for large datasets
Manage and scale data warehouses and data lakes for enterprise-level solutions
Work on scaling infrastructure and pipelines to handle large volumes of data
Qualifications
Extensive experience designing and optimizing data models and pipelines on Google BigQuery, including partitioning, clustering and performance tuning
Deep hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services used in data engineering (e.g., Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, BigQuery)
Strong SQL proficiency, with the ability to write performant, complex queries and implement scalable transformation logic
Expertise in data governance, data quality, and best practices for reliable, production-grade data systems, including monitoring and orchestration
Would be a plus
Experience with Informatica (PowerCenter odr IDMC) for enterprise ETL and data integration
