Java Developer

We are looking for a motivated strong mid Java Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Java development, good problem-solving skills, and exposure to cloud platforms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, contributing to ongoing projects, and gaining further experience in cloud technologies and modern software development practices.

Essential functions

  • Develop and maintain backend services and applications using Java and related frameworks.

  • Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.

  • Gain exposure to and work with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP for deploying and managing applications.

  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies and development practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.

  • Strong knowledge of Java, OOP principles, and common frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, including basic services (compute, storage, networking).

  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and version control (Git).

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Would be a plus

  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks and performance optimization.

  • Previous experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
