Agile Project Manager (Financial Domain)
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager / Agile Project Manager to join our team and lead delivery for a client in the financial services domain. In this role, you will manage several small-to-mid-sized projects and teams, ensure high client satisfaction, and drive predictable, high-quality delivery using Agile best practices.
Essential functions
Manage delivery for a few small-to-mid-sized projects or accounts (up to ~50 people), ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, managing expectations, building strong relationships, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
Apply Agile and other delivery best practices to plan, execute, and track project progress.
Plan and coordinate mid-term work for multiple teams, including managing external dependencies.
Track delivery metrics, performance, and progress; proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and lead mitigation efforts.
Ensure effective resource planning, allocation, and performance management across teams.
Lead and support cross-location, cross-cultural teams; resolve conflicts and foster a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Work closely with architects and senior engineers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
Translate technical concepts into business-relevant discussions for client stakeholders.
Ensure contractual compliance and support preparation, clarification, and execution of project agreements.
Identify opportunities for delivery improvements, process optimization, and potential business growth.
Support onboarding of new team members to ensure smooth integration and fast ramp-up.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in delivery management, project management, or Agile PM roles, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
Proven experience working with B2B clients, ideally from the USA and Europe.
Experience delivering projects for clients in the financial services or fintech domain.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills.
Solid people management experience, including leading distributed teams.
Good understanding of technical concepts and software delivery processes.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong risk management skills.
