Java Engineer (with Google Cloud Platform experience)
We are looking for a motivated strong mid Java Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Java development, good problem-solving skills, and exposure to cloud platforms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, contributing to ongoing projects, and gaining further experience in cloud technologies and modern software development practices.
Essential functions
Develop and maintain backend services and applications using Java and related frameworks.
Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.
Gain exposure to and work with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP for deploying and managing applications.
Continuously learn and apply new technologies and development practices.
Qualifications
4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
Hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform(GCP).
Strong knowledge of Java, OOP principles, and common frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
Understanding of CI/CD processes and version control (Git).
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
