System Analyst (SAP BI)
We are looking for a Business/Systems Analyst with strong EDI and SAP Order Management experience to support partner onboarding, integrations, and end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
Essential functions
Onboard and support EDI trading partners in the order management / O2C domain, acting as the main liaison between business, engineering, and external partners.
Requirements gathering, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements for integrations.
Defining, reviewing, and supporting EDI mappings, including data attribute mapping across systems and with external partners.
Define API contracts and working with JSON/XML payloads.
Analyze raw EDI files and integration payloads to perform root cause analysis for failures (mapping issues, partner data issues, system errors).
Take the ownership of end-to-end testing activities, including: Test scenario creation (happy path and edge cases) Partner testing and UAT coordination.
Support production incidents and SLA-driven issue resolution.
Perform basic SQL queries for validation and data checks.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with EDI standards and transaction sets, including:ANSI X12: 850, 855, 856, 810, 860 EDIFACT: ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC (preferred)
Strong working knowledge of SAP (ECC / S/4HANA), specifically order management and O2C processes.
Familiarity with EDI translation and integration platforms (e.g., IBM Sterling, MuleSoft, Boomi) and connectivity protocols (AS2, SFTP).
Deep understanding of EDI data structures, including segments, loops, elements, qualifiers, and mandatory vs. optional fields.
Experience developing and supporting SAP business process integrations.
Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, CloudWatch) and familiarity with alerting frameworks.
Strong documentation skills, including:Functional Design documents, Mapping specifications, Partner onboarding documentation
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow.
