Bigdata Developer
Key Responsibilities
Design and build data pipelines, data lakes, and ETL workflows for large-scale datasets
Implement batch and real-time data processing using distributed computing frameworks
Optimize data ingestion, storage, and processing for performance, scalability, and cost
Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
Develop data integration solutions across multiple systems and cloud platforms
Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and security compliance
Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance
Mentor team members and support delivery planning (for Lead role)
Essential functions
Skilled in utilizing Hadoop for efficient distributed storage and large-scale data processing.
Experienced with Apache Spark for both near real-time data insights and batch processing.
Proficient in Scala, and Python for scalable data handling and integration with big data frameworks.
Knowledgeable in managing both RDBMS and NoSQL systems for optimal data storage and retrieval.
Expert in crafting and optimizing complex SQL queries to enhance performance.
Adept at advanced database tuning, including indexing and query optimization, to boost system efficiency.
Proficient in using Presto, Impala, SparkSQL, and Hive for SQL-like querying and extensive data analysis.
