Senior Python Developer (PythonOCC/Manufacturing)
We are seeking a Python Engineer to develop a service that leverages Large Language Models to automate and optimize CNC code generation.
In this role, you will build the intelligent layer that translates high-level requirements into executable machine code, utilizing cutting-edge RAG architectures and specialized CAD/CAM engineering libraries.
Essential functions
Design and implement robust services for automated CNC code generation using Claude and specialized RAG techniques.
Utilize PythonOCC and cadquery to bridge the gap between generative AI outputs and precise geometric/mechanical constraints.
Build and maintain high-performance, scalable back-end services using FastAPI.
Manage and optimize deployment pipelines using Jenkins and AWS to ensure seamless delivery of AI-powered services.
Work within an Agile setting to solve complex problems, ensuring high-quality output through rigorous code reviews and teamwork.
Qualifications
Core: Python, FastAPI
AI/LLM: Claude (Anthropic), RAG Architecture
CAD/CAM Engineering: PythonOCC, cadquery
Infrastructure: AWS, Jenkins (CI/CD)
Would be a plus
Industrial Context: Familiarity with CNC machining, G-code, or manufacturing automation.
