Senior/Staff Software Engineer

Essential functions

• Design and implement an algorithmic approach to parts positioning and feature detection using Python

• Design and implement pipelines for data manipulation, LLM verification, and evaluation;

• Design and implement APIs for communication between different application services (data retrieval, evaluation, 3rd party applications for g-code generation, FastAPI is preferable);

• Troubleshoot and fix issues related to Python code, Python libraries, APIs, web applications (DB connectivity, authentication, etc.)

• Be able to use Docker (create images, containers);

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions;

• Document technical designs and maintain engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Python programming skills with focus on working with CAD libraries (PythonOCC or CadQuery or etc), building APIs (Rest, FastAPI);

• Expert-level debugging and troubleshooting skills for Python,  APIs, web applications;

• Competent SQL skills and experience with databases like MySQL, Postgres;

• Knowledge of big data processing frameworks (such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Dask);

• Understanding of distributed computing and storage systems principles;

• Expertise in designing and implementing complex LLM applications, including multimodal, RAG, and agent-based systems;

• Competent knowledge and experience using Docker and Kubernetes, including packaging applications and dependencies into containers, managing deployment, scaling, and operation across clusters;

• Knowledge and experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/Github Actions or Rio;

• Readiness to evening’s calls till 9-10 pm Kyiv time zone.

Would be a plus

• CNC programming/manufacturing experience is a huge plus.
