Senior Solution Architect
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the technical design and evolution of complex, enterprise-scale software solutions across multiple projects and domains.
In this senior, hands-on role, you will work end-to-end: from understanding business needs and defining technical vision, to guiding implementation and ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with real-world constraints. You will have strong influence over architecture decisions, delivery approach, and technical quality across projects.
Essential functions
Define solution architecture at project and program level, translating business requirements into clear technical designs
Document current and target-state architectures, including systems, integrations, roles, and boundaries
Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure requirements are complete, consistent, and achievable
Design cloud- and platform-agnostic architectures, selecting appropriate cloud-native technologies when needed
Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as performance, availability, scalability, and security
Balance technical and business constraints, clearly explaining trade-offs and design decisions
Create and maintain architecture documentation, including risks, mitigations, and rationale for technology choices
Support project planning and estimation, helping teams define realistic delivery roadmaps (6–12+ months)
Identify and manage technical risks, and proactively highlight delivery risks that could impact outcomes
Act as a technical design authority within your domain or across multiple projects
Review technical demands, designs, and delivery approaches within your account or program
Qualifications
Strong experience designing and delivering complex software systems
Expertise in at least one technical domain, with solid understanding across backend and frontend systems, cloud platforms and data storage and processing
Ability to think at both high-level architecture and practical implementation levels
Experience working with multiple teams and stakeholders in complex environments
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, complexity, and change
Would be a plus
Hands-on experience modernizing legacy systems
Practical understanding of CI/CD pipelines and project infrastructure
Experience defining or improving SDLC processes and engineering standards
Experience participating in or leading technical audits
Mentoring and coaching engineers or technical leads
Involvement in hiring processes (CV reviews, technical interviews)
