Project Manager (hybrid in Prague, Czech Republic)
Grid Dynamics is looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead the deployment of a next-generation Laboratory Information Management System (eLIMS NG) for one of our key clients, a global leader in Life Sciences. In this role, you will be the driving force behind complex system integrations across the CEE region, bridging the gap between sophisticated IT infrastructure and mission-critical laboratory operations. You will thrive in a dynamic, international environment, coordinating diverse teams to deliver digital solutions that directly impact efficiency and innovation in the life sciences sector.
Essential functions
Leading and managing the rollout of eLIMS NG projects across selected CEE countries, ensuring alignment with the global roadmap and corporate project methodologies.
Coordinating the integration of the new LIMS into existing local business workflows, supporting user readiness, and driving organizational change adoption.
Acting as a vital link between business functions and IT teams, translating complex business requirements into technical deliverables and system configurations.
Overseeing key activities including configuration validation, system testing, and go-live preparation while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
Tracking key project metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement, and providing transparent status updates to regional and global stakeholders.
Engaging deeply with business stakeholders to understand operational workflows, ensuring the system deployment enhances efficiency and meets specific user needs.
Coordinating cross-functional workstreams and supporting the training and onboarding of local teams to ensure a seamless transition to the new digital ecosystem.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project management or business operations, ideally within a large-scale international or matrix organization.
Proven track record of delivering complex digital transformation projects, specifically in areas such as laboratory operations, logistics, or supply chain.
Solid experience with ERP, LIMS, or similar enterprise-level system rollouts, including configuration and user training.
Demonstrated ability to translate operational business needs into technical project requirements.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence both technical teams and non-technical business audiences.
Proven ability to lead workstreams across diverse functions and geographies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Fluent in English and Czech or Slovak .
Would be a plus
Direct experience in Laboratory Operations or the Life Sciences industry.
Knowledge of an additional Central or Southeastern European language.
Professional PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile equivalents).
