Java Fullstack Developer
We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer with experience (5 years) specific to Web Application development in Java/J2EE programming (with UI/UX experience in React 18 and above). The candidate must have good knowledge and experience on object-oriented programming (OOP) while supporting, leading, and training in software management use with little or no direction. This would include all aspects such as analyzing, designing, coding and unit testing core modules of the new Online application and working with a global team of developers, SMEs and architects.
Essential functions
You will help our customers achieve their real goals by understanding their requirements and how they respond to their business needs
You will use technologies that include Java 8 and above, REST, MySQL, Spring Boot v5.0, React 18 and above
You will analyze business requirements and architect a solution that is robust and scalable along with providing technical documentation of solution
You will leverage on new technologies to build the next generation of Payments ecosystem services
You will develop and deliver new features every few weeks and be responsible for them end-end
You have the work and academic experience that will demonstrate proficiency and ease with programming languages, code quality initiatives, scripting languages and operating systems
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and above all, you are a team player!
Qualifications
Experience: 5 years of Full Stack Java Development in a containerized microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot, with strong UI/UX development experience in React
Microservices & Cloud: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS
Frontend Development: React 18+ | HTML5/CSS (knowledge of web page design is a plus)
Backend Development:
Java EE Framework: Java 17+ and Spring Boot
ORM Framework: Hibernate
Database: MySQL and MongoDB (Open Source)
Application Server: Spring Boot
Web Server: JBOSS Web Server
Development Tools & Platforms:
IDEs: VS Code, IntelliJ
Repository: GitHub
Issue Tracking: JIRA
CI/CD: Jenkins
Would be a plus
Strong knowledge of open-source web development tools and modern software engineering practices
