Java Full Stack
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer contractor to design, develop, and implement scalable automation solutions to enhance the Release Management lifecycle. This role will primarily focus on building enterprise-grade applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks, while incorporating AI-driven capabilities to improve release efficiency, risk assessment, and deployment reliability.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development, from system design and backend services to frontend implementation and integration with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise platforms. You will work closely with Release Management, DevOps, QA, and Product teams to modernize release workflows through intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making.
Essential functions
Design and develop scalable full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend technologies.
Build and maintain backend microservices supporting release automation and orchestration.
Develop responsive frontend applications using React JS, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Design and implement AI-enabled automation features for release scheduling, risk analysis, and anomaly detection.
Integrate applications with CI/CD pipelines, release orchestration tools, and enterprise systems.
Collaborate with release managers, QA, DevOps, and development teams to understand workflows and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, system design (HLD/LLD), and technical decision-making.
Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and prototype new automation capabilities.
Ensure application quality through code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Produce and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Adapt to evolving requirements and contribute proactively to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong experience in Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot for backend development.
Hands-on experience in Java Full Stack development including React JS, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
Solid understanding of system design concepts including HLD and LLD.
Experience integrating applications with CI/CD pipelines using Git, BitBucket, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of Release Management processes and deployment lifecycle.
Experience working in Agile environments and SSDLC practices.
Familiarity with workflow and issue management tools such as Jira.
Experience working with ITSM and automation platforms such as ServiceNow.
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work effectively in environments with evolving or ambiguous requirements.
Would be a plus
Experience developing AI-enabled or intelligent automation solutions.
Knowledge of release risk analysis, deployment analytics, or anomaly detection systems.
Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience in enterprise-scale release management environments.
Exposure to DevOps metrics dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
Experience with cloud-based deployment environments.
