Senior Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst with 12+ years of expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, data modeling, and advanced reporting—combined with strong hands-on knowledge of Gen AI tools and Power BI.
This role requires deep analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive AI-enabled insights and BI strategy across the organization.
Essential functions
Lead end-to-end data analysis initiatives and guide BI strategy for the organization.
Design, develop, and optimize complex Power BI dashboards, data models, and analytical reports.
Utilize Gen AI tools (LLMs, Azure OpenAI, AI automation frameworks) to enhance reporting, automate insights, and improve data workflows.
Engage with senior business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Architect and manage data models, semantic layers, and scalable BI solutions.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries and lead ETL/ELT data preparation.
Use Python/R to automate data processes and integrate AI-driven insights.
Ensure data quality, governance, and standardization across analytics platforms.
Lead and mentor junior data analysts, providing guidance on best practices.
Drive adoption of AI-based analytics across business functions.
Present insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership teams.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Power BI (advanced DAX, Power Query, M, data modeling).
Deep hands-on experience with Gen AI tools:
LLMs
Prompt engineering
AI automation pipelines
Azure OpenAI / OpenAI API
Expert-level proficiency in SQL.
Strong experience in Python for data analysis, automation, and AI integration.
Experience handling large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and database design.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
