Senior Scala Engineer
Join a high-impact architecture team as a Senior Scala Engineer, focused on designing and maintaining scalable systems that aggregate, process, and visualize hardware performance data across a large distributed environment.
In this role, you will work with data streams from 100–120 systems, leveraging Scala to transform raw metrics into meaningful insights through dashboards and automated alerting. Your work will directly support proactive monitoring, incident detection, and automated ticket generation, ensuring optimal hardware health and operational efficiency.
Essential functions
Design and implement scalable solutions to process and cluster hardware data collected from multiple systems.
Develop and maintain dashboards that visualize key metrics and system health.
Enable automated ticket generation based on hardware state insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data pipelines and monitoring capabilities.
Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment workflows.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Scala and some experience with React
Hands-on experience with AWS
Experience with containerized environments and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large-scale data
Would be a plus
Familiarity with Java/Go
