Delivery Operations Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Delivery Operations Manager with a specialized focus on Financial Operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial health, managing everything from month-end closures to long-term profitability analysis.
You will act as the critical link between Delivery Leadership and Accounting, ensuring that our projects are not only technically successful but financially optimized and compliant.
Essential functions
Financial Management: Lead the month-end closing procedures and execute accurate short-term financial projections.
Contract & Compliance: Review PRDs and SOWs to ensure timely submission and alignment with operational standards.
Procurement Lifecycle: Support and audit the full Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle, ensuring no bottlenecks in the procurement process.
Systems Oversight: Maintain rigorous due diligence and tracking within OpenAir (NSPP) and other internal management tools.
Invoicing & AR: Partner with accounting to create invoices, submit them to the client, and monitor the entire lifecycle (from approval to Accounts Receivable), proactively resolving any issues.
Strategic Analysis: Analyze the account’s financial performance and collaborate with Delivery Leadership to design and implement performance improvement plans.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven track record in operations management, financial coordination, or project PMO roles within IT industry
Technical Proficiency: Experience with professional services automation tools (experience with OpenAir is a significant plus).
Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of invoicing cycles, accruals, and revenue recognition.
Communication: Ability to navigate complex issue resolution with internal accounting teams and high-profile clients.
Analytical Mindset: Skilled at turning financial data into actionable insights for delivery leaders.
