Technical Project Manager (AI/ML)

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with expertise in managing and leading AI/ML initiatives from inception to development, stakeholder management and risk mitigation skills.

Essential functions

  • Drive and ship large, multi-functional programs and feature areas

  • Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent features including scope, requirements, timelines, and prioritization- Day-to-day will include program managing, execution, risk assessments, in order to meet the overall program goals

  • Foster collaboration across a broad team of cross- functional partners to formulate roadmap and manage intake pipeline- Play an active role in improving how features are built and executed

  • Help set the strategy and communicate status and issues to stakeholders at all levels- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Data Science, QA, Legal, Finance, Privacy, Anti-Fraud, Business Operations and other organizations to develop and improve the suite of features

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in project or program management with prior experience in machine learning/artificial intelligence.

  • Deep experience in ML/AI development life cycles.

  • Excellent program management skills including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently with the capability to work across a large number of teams to enforce process and efficient outcomes in a data-driven environment.

  • Strong ability to manage cross functional priorities, establishing unified OKRs/KPIs, fostering clear communication, and encouraging efficient project delivery.

  • Strong ability to document requirements, define project scope, facilitate effort estimation with technical teams, articulate schedule constraints, and manage multiple roadmaps.

  • Strong product and technical orientation and ability to maintain sight of user experience during feature development.

  • Strong analytical skills and obsession for data, solid understanding of metrics measuring machine learning models and overall system quality.

  • Demonstrated data-driven decision-making skills, including experience leading metrics-driven projects or programs.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive decisions, resolve conflicts, and influence outcomes without direct authority.

  • Advanced degree (MS/MBA) in a technical, organizational, or communication-related field.

Would be a plus

  • Prior program management or engineering experience in shipping products driven by machine-learned systems to worldwide users.
