Senior QA Engineer (Python)
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong Python knowledge.This position is located in Cupertino,CA and requires the candidate to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.
Essential functions
Execute E2E testing across devices, backend services, data pipelines, browser UI and supporting systems.
Validate functionality of unreleased device features and server side platform changes.
Develop, maintain, and manual test scenarios.
Investigate failures and perform root cause triage across the system stack including devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
Analyze logs and system telemetry to identify the source of issues.
Work with internal engineering teams to provide actionable defect reports with clear reproduction steps and supporting diagnostics.
Understand and interact with test frameworks and tools written in Python, JavaScript, and device automation frameworks such as XCUI.
Support validation of cross system workflows involving devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
Qualifications
Develop UI and/or API automated tests (functional, integration, regression)
Strong Python development skills
Analyze business/ functional/non-functional requirements
Work close with devops, developers and QA engineers
Automate testing of services availability
Prepare data-sets for testing and work on TDM solutions
Certificate Testing Environments
Work on testing frameworks and its integration with services
Improve quality assurance processes, introduce best practices of QA to the customer
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or a related field.
