HR Generalist (Workday)
We are looking for experienced HR Generalist to support our HR compliance processes across different GD offices, with a strong emphasis on Workday compliance and operations.
Essential functions
Oversee and manage HR compliance processes with a strong focus on Workday compliance and operations
Ensure high-quality HRIS operations in Workday, including data maintenance, process execution, and controls
Lead HR audit processes and ensure readiness for internal and external audits
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and records in the system of record (Workday), ensuring accuracy and compliance
Mentor local HR Operations Specialists and support overall team development
Drive HR initiatives to improve compliance practices and operational efficiency within Workday
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliant and efficient HR operations
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in HR Compliance
Strong hands-on experience with Workday HRIS (data, processes, day-to-day operations)
Solid expertise in Workday compliance, data accuracy, and internal controls
Strong skills in Workday settings/configuration and system support (troubleshooting, improvements)
Experience with HR audits
Good understanding of end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle
Experience in maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and operational documentation in alignment with HR compliance
Ability to improve processes and optimize HR operations within Workday
Strong attention to detail, ownership, and structured approach
Experience in mentoring or supporting HR team members is a plus
Fluent English
