Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java / Go / AWS)
Join a high-impact engineering team building advanced machine learning frameworks to streamline large-scale model training, fine-tuning, and evaluation. The project focuses on accelerating ML workflows, enhancing model performance, and improving infrastructure through ongoing experimentation and iteration.
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll focus primarily on back-end and infrastructure development (roughly 80–90% backend), building high-performance microservices and scalable cloud systems. You’ll work alongside ML researchers and infrastructure engineers to ensure efficient, reliable, and production-ready tools.
Essential functions
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and full-stack applications using Java and Go.
Architect and implement microservices with robust CI/CD pipelines.
Leverage AWS services for cloud-native infrastructure and scalable deployments.
Use Docker for containerization and manage services in cloud environments.
Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and availability.
Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and optimization efforts.
Contribute to engineering efficiency by improving build systems, compilers, and dev workflows.
Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems.
Strong proficiency in Java and Go.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, etc.).
Knowledge of Docker, containerized deployments, and microservices architecture.
Proficiency with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of distributed systems and performance tuning.
Would be a plus
Familiarity with TypeScript and front-end frameworks such as React.
Experience building internal dashboards or user interfaces for platform tools.
Exposure to machine learning infrastructure, MLOps, or data platforms.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, or other infra-as-code tools.
Background in build systems, compilers, or low-level performance tooling.
