DevOps Engineer (Senior)
We are looking for a Senior Devops Engineer for an American publicly traded consumer retail company that sells kitchen-wares and home furnishings. It is headquartered in San Francisco, California, United States.
Solid experience with the Azure ecosystem and Kafka, is key for this role!
Essential functions
• Azure Data & Cloud Operations: Manage and optimize Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake (ADL), and Azure DevOps pipelines. You will be responsible for the hands-on configuration and networking of these environments.
• Microservices & Streaming Support: Provide operational support for Microservices and Kafka, ensuring high availability and efficient event streaming.
• Operational Visibility: Structure and present day-to-day work and operational metrics clearly to leadership and the wider team, ensuring full transparency of ops workloads.
• Platform Adaptation: Rapidly learn and integrate with the internal edap platform, ensuring seamless deployment and management of services.
Qualifications
• Azure Ecosystem (Expert/Hands-on): Proven, deep experience with Azure ADF, ADL, Azure DevOps, and Cloud Networking. (Limited or theoretical knowledge is insufficient for this role).
• Backend Infrastructure: Strong hands-on experience with Kafka and Microservices architecture.
• Ops Workloads: Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume operational workloads independently.
