Full Stack Developer
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications in the retail and consumer order management domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across frontend and backend technologies, cloud-native architectures, event-driven systems, and DevOps practices. This role requires a highly collaborative engineer who can independently drive technical initiatives, mentor team members, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Essential functions
Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable full-stack applications.
Build modern and responsive frontend applications using JavaScript, React, or Vue.js.
Develop backend services and APIs using Java with Spring/Camel and Node.js.
Design and implement automated testing frameworks using Cucumber, JUnit, and related tools.
Build and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS leveraging services such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3.
Design event-driven architectures using Kafka, JMS, DynamoDB, and Amazon MQ.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Splunk and SignalFx.
Own CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and production support activities.
Drive engineering best practices including code quality, PR reviews, branching strategies, and collaboration workflows using GitHub and Jenkins.
Work independently with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
Mentor engineers and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Demonstrate an AI-first engineering mindset by leveraging modern AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and learning.
Qualifications
7–12 years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong expertise in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
Strong backend development experience using Java with Spring/Camel and Node.js.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and scalable microservices architectures.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3.
Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka, JMS, and Amazon MQ.
Experience with automated testing frameworks like Cucumber and JUnit.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub workflows.
Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Splunk and SignalFx.
Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
Would be a plus
Experience in retail, e-commerce, or order management domains.
Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of performance optimization and scalability best practices.
Experience mentoring teams or leading technical initiatives.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or similar platforms.
