Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Big Data Architect with strong expertise in designing scalable enterprise data platforms and modernizing legacy big data ecosystems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AI Harness platforms/frameworks, Hadoop to AWS Migration, and Temporal workflow orchestration, along with strong exposure to cloud-native data engineering and distributed systems.

The candidate will be responsible for architecting end-to-end data solutions, enabling AI-driven data platforms, leading migration initiatives from on-prem Hadoop environments to AWS, and implementing resilient workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal.

Essential functions

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance big data solutions.

  • Lead enterprise-wide Hadoop to AWS cloud migration initiatives.

  • Define cloud-native architecture patterns for modern data platforms.

  • Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines using distributed processing frameworks.

  • Drive adoption and implementation of AI Harness capabilities/frameworks for intelligent data processing and automation.

  • Design and implement workflow orchestration and microservice coordination using Temporal.

  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and business teams to define scalable data strategies.

  • Architect data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms on AWS.

  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, governance, and security best practices.

  • Mentor engineering teams and provide architectural guidance across projects.

  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and solution optimization.Required Skills & Experience

  • Lead enterprise-wide Hadoop to AWS cloud migration initiatives.
