Senior/ Lead Java Developer

Essential functions

• Develop and maintain Java networking platform

• Enhance adapter frameworks to support scalable integration with modern networking systems

• Design and develop new services and APIs

• Apply deep expertise in algorithm design and analysis

• Utilize the Chain of Responsibility pattern in system design

Qualifications

• Java Expert (core, concurrency, JVM ecosystem)

• Deep understanding of fundamental algorithms and data structures (e.g. understanding how Java collection classes work under the hood, ability to implement graph and tree data structures)

• Knowledge of application design patterns (e.g. Chain of Responsibility, Command, etc.)

• Solid experience with concurrency (synchronization, locking mechanisms, thread management)

• Solid understanding of application release processes (semantic versioning, feature deprecation/removal, backward compatibility maintenance)

• Maven and Gradle (configuration, dependency management, conflict detection and resolution)

• gRPC

Would be a plus

• Experience with graph databases, particularly Neo4j

• Proficiency with MapStruct for object mapping

• Advanced knowledge of artifact repositories (e.g. Artifactory)

• Experience building systems with custom pagination and batching

• Knowledge of license parsing, release note indexing, and repository analysis

• Experience with UUID-based identity generation strategies for entity relations

• Deep understanding of workflow engines and asynchronous process orchestration

• Experience building modular metadata indexing pipelines

• Strong background in metadata enrichment and file parsing (POM, JAR, etc.)

• Strong focus on clean code, JavaDocs, unit and integration testing

• Understanding of SBOMs, software license types (MIT, Apache, etc.), and software compliance

• Experience building and maintaining custom versioning libraries (e.g. JapiCmp-based diff algorithms)
