Quality Assurance Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled SDET with strong experience in test automation, framework development, and quality engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in both Selenium and Playwright to build scalable and reliable automation solutions.
Resource has to work in Pacific TimeZone.
Essential functions
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web applications.
Create automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and execute test cases using Selenium and Playwright.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall product quality.
Participate in code reviews and promote automation best practices.
Perform API testing and validate backend services.
Prepare test reports, metrics, and documentation.
Qualifications
Required Skills
3–7 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar.
Strong understanding of test automation framework design patterns.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
Preferred Skills
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Understanding of security and accessibility testing.
