Location - Bangalore

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles.

  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala.

  • Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks using:
    Selenium/TestNG/JUnit/PyTest/REST Assured (preferred)

  • Hands-on experience testing Big Data ecosystems such as:
    Apache Hadoop/Apache Spark/Hive/Kafka/HDFS/Airflow

  • Strong SQL skills and experience validating large datasets.

  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Essential functions

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for Big Data platforms and data pipelines.

  • Validate data ingestion, transformation, processing, and storage across distributed systems.

  • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

  • Develop automated data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.

  • Perform API testing and backend validation for data services and microservices.

  • Execute performance, scalability, and reliability testing for large-scale data processing applications.

  • Analyze defects, identify root causes, and work with development teams to drive resolutions.

  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering quality practices.

  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and quality metrics dashboards.

  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala.
