Golang developer

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join our team. This position is part of a high-impact project for a world-renowned enterprise platform provider that is replacing its legacy infrastructure with a modern, Go-centric developer platform. In this role, you will help build an end-to-end environment covering the entire software lifecycle, from version control and CI/CD to deep IDE integrations.

Essential functions

  • Microservices Development: Design and build scalable, secure backend microservices using Go.

  • Frontend & IDE Integration: Develop user-facing components using TypeScript and build custom VSCode extensions to optimize the developer experience.

  • Security & Auth: Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms, integrating with OAuth 2.0 and Active Directory.

  • CI/CD Collaboration: Partner with DevOps teams to design, maintain, and streamline automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Go for backend microservices development.

  • Solid experience with TypeScript for frontend development and creating custom VSCode extensions (via VSCode Extension API).

  • Practical knowledge of implementing OAuth 2.0 and Active Directory integrations.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker / Kubernetes and modern CI/CD workflows.

  • Clear written communication skills for documenting technical solutions and collaborating across teams in a hybrid work environment.

Would be a plus

  • Background in refactoring or migrating legacy enterprise platforms (e.g., IBM ecosystem).

  • Familiarity with building custom developer tools, internal portals, or CLI utilities.

  • Experience with cloud-native observability tooling.
